Page 1 of Lost Season 4 - The Official Thread

News today from digital spy as follows:-

ABC has confirmed that a fourth season of Lost has been given the go-ahead.

The green light, which was announced by the network`s entertainment president Stephen McPherson at the March Development Meeting in Los Angeles, comes despite a downtick in total viewer numbers during the third season. Last month, ABC attempted to boost ratings by airing repeats in place of sitcoms, a strategy that worked when the reruns outperformed the shows it replaced. However, the show continues to win its 10pm timeslot in the adults 18-49 demographic and remains one of America`s top ten most-watched shows.

Of course, by the time season 4 actually airs nobody will be bothered dragging this one back up again, so I can craftily sweep in and make my own Official thread...

I really hope the ratings dip enough so they say that it won`t be picked up for a fifth season so they know in advance and can tie off all the storylines in the next series.

I`ve stopped watching this series, just download and will watch in one go at the end of when I get really bored.

I think the main problem with the show is they have s*** loads of ideas, but then only hint at them and don`t follow them through because they need to save it for later seasons.

In all honesty most episodes could be cut to around 15mins tops the amount that happens in them (the flashbacks being the most pointless things on the show now >:( >:( >:( )
